Our consultants are discerning and well-trained professionals, with a wealth of experience conducting the most critical search assignments for demanding, sophisticated clients, large and small. Cavoure’s partners average 17 years of experience, gained at three of the world’s largest executive search firms. Our consultants tend to form deep, long-lasting and meaningful client relationships; we do not treat search as a transaction.

No position is more visible, nor the performance more easily measured, for example, than the chief executive officer. Our consultants have helped boards recruit CEOs who have delivered compound annual returns to shareholders that exceed the S&P 500 by more than 12 percentage points.

While the performance of other senior level executives is less easily quantified, Cavoure’s principles for creating long-term value for clients are still critical in our work. To be true to these principles, we do not take shortcuts. The proof is in the pudding. We complete more than 90 percent of our search engagements, which we believe is among the best in the industry, and far exceeds the 60 to 70 percent typical of our larger competitors.

We accept a select, limited number of assignments.

Our partners are completely involved in all critical elements of the search, and can devote more time and attention to each client relationship, and each assignment. We learn our clients’ industries, their companies, their cultures, and how they best create value for shareholders.

While well-supported by an experienced research and administrative staff, our partners do not “sell” work, and then leave inexperienced, junior staff to set strategy, assess candidates and counsel clients. We do the work.

We engage talent and provide our clients with access to talent from the broadest possible spectrum of target and “academy” companies.

Our partners are known, respected, and visible in the industries in which they serve. We have few “off-limits”, and no internal competition for candidates from multiple recruiters within the same firm.

We provide clients our forthright and balanced counsel, insights and guidance to allow them to make fully informed decisions.

We are not compromised by ever-increasing volume requirements to “sell” candidates to clients, or accept assignments for which we are not qualified, cannot be properly resourced by an experienced consultant, or when – in our judgment – our client’s expectations are unlikely to be met.

We know from experience that each search is unique and also that the market for talent is highly dynamic.

We recognize the value of up-to-date market knowledge, and invest in the intellectual capital required to stay current and relevant for each assignment. We do not rely on a database filled with candidates who have never been presented, let alone hired.
