Barbara joined Cavoure Advisors in early 2010 from Mahler Enterprises where she was a Senior Account Manager and worked with high net worth families throughout the country. Before that, she held roles with Heidrick & Struggles and Boyden Global Executive Search. In those firms, Barbara supported senior partners in various industries. Barbara possess broad industry experience and has a track record of success helping recruit talented individuals to a variety of C-level and functional positions.

Susan has been with Cavoure Advisors since its founding. She spent six-and-a-half years at Heidrick & Struggles, where she was a senior associate. Before entering the search world, Susan spent more than 20 years in human resources working for William Blair, Heller Financial, Baxter/American Hospital Supply Corp., and the Marmon Group. Susan has a BS in human resources from the University of Kansas and a master's in industrial relations from Loyola University.

Claire has been with Cavoure Advisors since its founding. She has been in executive search for nearly 12 years. Prior to joining Cavoure, Claire worked for four years as an executive assistant within the industrial practice at Heidrick & Struggles. She started her search career in 1996 with Russell Reynolds Associates, in its financial services practice and its global manufactured products practice. Claire holds a BA in liberal arts from Northeastern Illinois University, magna cum laude.

Carla joined Cavoure Advisors in March 2010. She has over 20 years experience in the executive search industry, working first for a very small functional boutique. Carla spent the last six years as an executive assistant with Heidrick & Struggles where, most recently, she supported the partner in charge of the global consumer practice and head of the Midwestern region.
Corey Matthiessen

Corey joined Cavoure in 2010 and brings broad-based, multi-industry experience to the firm. Prior to joining Cavoure he worked in a project capacity for Challenger, Gray & Christmas. Earlier experience includes national business development for First Industrial Realty Trust, and over five years in client management at SmithBucklin responsible for IBM’s North American large enterprise customer organization. He is a member of The Executives’ Club of Chicago and serves on the board of a private school in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. Corey previously served on the board of YPC, and on the associate board of Literacy Chicago. He has a BBA from the University of Iowa.
Silvia Trevino

Silvia joined Cavoure Advisors in January 2011. She has over 12 years of experience in the executive search industry. In her previous role, Silvia served as executive assistant and marketing coordinator for a boutique search firm which was part of an international search network. There, she supported the senior partner in the firm’s global energy, healthcare and IT practices. She also assisted in executing global marketing activities for the network. Silvia has a BA in Spanish Translation and Business from Northern Illinois University.
Simone Leduc

Simone joined the Cavoure family in September 2011. She is an attorney by trade and is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Illinois. Originally from Ohio, she previously worked for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation as the Associate Director of Gift Planning in the Office of Development. Her prior experience includes running a financial planning practice and has worked with volunteer and professional not-for-profits locally and nationally. Simone has a BA in English from The Ohio State University and a JD earned at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
