LISLE, Ill. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - November 5, 2007 - Gladson Interactive, the leading provider of shelf management data and online product images and information, has appointed Mark A. Shapiro, a 25-year veteran of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, president and chief executive officer. He succeeds Mike Spindler.

Shapiro comes to Gladson from the New England Consulting Group where he was a partner and a member of the CPG, food service and over-the-counter pharmaceutical global practice teams. Previously, Shapiro spent 19 years at the Quaker Oats Company, progressing through the marketing ranks before becoming president and general manager of three different divisions. He was later named senior vice president -- corporate strategy and development.

Shapiro, who holds an MBA degree in marketing and finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA from Union College, began his career at General Mills.
