
Chicago, IL – December 1, 2010 – – Cavoure Advisors announces the appointment of Thomas M. Jones to the position of Vice President, Research and Development for Clif Bar & Company. Mr. Jones was most recently the Director of Global Research and Development for Starbucks Coffee Company, where he spent five years leading various innovation and new product development initiatives. Previously, Tom was the Director of Operations at Tazo Tea Company where he led teams in R&D, quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing and procurement. Overall, Mr. Jones brings 20 years of experience to the role at Clif Bar, with early roots in food technology and continued progression into leading quality assurance and research and development initiatives in the food and beverage categories.
Mr. Jones holds a received his Bachelors degree in Food Science and Technology from Michigan State University.
