Houston, TX – September 13, 2010 – Cavoure Advisors is pleased to announce the recruitment of Karen Sue Gibson to the position of Chief Information Officer. Previously Ms. Gibson held a senior information technology leadership role with Mattel Inc.

Gibson began her career with EDS and has held senior IT leadership roles with industrial and healthcare concerns. After leading GE Medical Systems Information Technology IT organization she was recruited by a former boss as CIO Invitrogen, which later became Life Technologies, an organization created through many acquisitions. Gibson oversaw development and implementation of a significant IT strategy and rationalization during a period of significant change and very high growth.

Ms. Gibson holds a B.S. Computer Technology earned at Purdue University and an M.B.A. earned at The Ohio State University.
