Lakes Forest, IL – August 2, 2010 – Cavoure Advisors is pleased to announce the recruitment of Eric R. Tapia to the position of Vice President, Internal Audit at W.W. Grainger, Inc. Tapia will report directly to the audit committee of the company's board.

Most recently, Mr. Tapia was an Audit Partner with KPMG in Santiago, Chile, where he co-led the office's U.S. desk and was a member of KPMG Chile Department of Professional Practice. Eric has particular depth in working with multi-national, SEC-listed clients across Latin America and Europe.

Eric Tapia has more than 10 years of audit experience working with public and privately-held enterprises across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail, mining/natural resources, and energy. Mr. Tapia joined KPMG's San Juan, Puerto Rico office in 2000. He was promoted to equity partner in 2009, and was the youngest firm partner in the America's region.

A native of Puerto Rico, Eric speaks fluent Spanish and English. Mr. Tapia holds a bachelor's degree in business administration form the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, as well as an MBA from Duke University. Eric is a CPA and also was a faculty member of the Business & Economics School of the Universidad de Chile.
