Chicago, Illinois – July 21, 2011 – Cavoure Advisors is pleased to announce the recruitment of Lisa L. Leonard to the position of Vice President, Finance at Griffin Pipe Company.  Griffin is an operating company of Amsted Industries.

Most recently, Ms. Leonard served as Senior Director, Global Operations Finance for Alberto Culver, a $1.5 billion personal care products manufacturer.  Previously, Ms. Leonard served as Vice President, Finance for the Visual Communications business of Acco Brands.  Lisa spent the first 15 years of her career with the General Electric Company, where she was a member of the company’s highly respected audit staff.  During her career at General Electric, Ms. Leonard served in a variety of planning and analysis and operational finance assignments in the company’s aerospace, appliances, industrial systems, and plastics business units.  She was Chief Financial Officer for a joint venture, G.E. Toshiba Automation Systems, before moving to Chicago and joining Acco.  

Ms. Leonard holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematical Economics from Wake Forest University, as well as a Masters Degree in Management from Purdue University.
