HOUSTON, TX – June 15, 2010 – Cavoure Advisors is pleased to announce the appointment of Asif Ahmad to the position of executive vice president, technology services. Previously, Mr. Ahmad served as vice president Diagnostic Services and chief information officer for Duke University Health System and Medical Center. He was also associate dean, academic computing and imaging, Duke School of Medicine.

A world citizen, Asif was born in Pakistan and raised there, the Netherlands and South Africa before relocation to the United States where he spent nearly 10 years and where he became chief information officer. He spent almost 8 years as Duke University Health System and Medical Center where he made many highly impressive contributions.

Asif hold a B.S. Electrical Engineering earned at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, an M.S. Biomedical Engineering and M.B.A. each earned at The Ohio State University.
