David C. Brown Prior to joining Cavoure Advisors, David C. Brown was a partner with Heidrick & Struggles. Before that he co-founded a successful boutique search firm and earlier led the global information officers practice of Russell Reynolds Associates. During his 15 years with Russell Reynolds, David played a key role in building the firm's presence in the technology sector and in the development of many of the firm's leading technology clients.

As one of the country's leading CIO recruiters, David has helped a diverse group of companies build outstanding information technology leadership teams. Representative searches include the recruitment of CIOs/CTOs for PPG, Ecolab, Alta Colleges, SSA Global, Equity Office Properties, Reliance Steel and Aluminum, Nissan Americas, SmithBucklin, TreeHouse Foods/Bay Valley Foods and Tomkins PLC/Gates. David also has helped chief information officers build strong leadership teams at companies including Nuveen, DSW, Westfield and Kennametal.

Beyond his significant experience recruiting information professionals, David's search experience is quite broad and includes recruiting chief executive officers, presidents, chief financial officers, and heads of operations, marketing, sales, and engineering across many industries especially technology and industrial companies. David also has experience recruiting board of director members.

Prior to entering executive search, David spent several years in sales and marketing with IBM Corporation. He holds a BS in business from the University of Colorado. David currently serves as treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for the corporation formed by the merger of Delnor Health System and Central Dupage Health. Prior to the merger, David was vice chairman of Delnor Health System and chairman of the compensation committee. He is a past chairman of the Delnor Healthcare Foundation.
